The Archbishop of York Youth Trust
- Reaching hundreds of young people in community projects through providing grants that enable them to make a difference in their communities.
- Working with schools to empower 10,000+ young people each year across the northern region to achieve our Young Leaders Award, having led social action projects in their community, growing each year to 2020.
- Working with schools to provide meaningful opportunities for young people to engage in social action and ensure that youth social action is embedded across wider society.
- Exploring digital solutions that will support our work in reaching more young people and comprehensively assess the positive impact that volunteering makes on the lives of young people.
- Ensuring all of our work is inclusive and engages young people from all backgrounds to take practical action in the service of others to create positive change in their communities.
- Playing our role within the broader Church of England pledge to the campaign to encourage dioceses and parishes nationally to develop and promote fresh volunteering opportunities for young people alongside those they already have.
We're still working on our pledge to the #iwill campaign. Next progress update is coming soon, so watch this space!

Quote from Charlotte Hill, CEO at Step Up To Serve
"The #iwill campaign is driven by leaders from across society who are committed to making youth social action a normal part of growing up in the UK. We know that young people want to play an active part in improving their communities, and that in doing so, they develop their own skills for work and life. Over 350 cross-sector organisations so far have pledged to support youth social action, and say #iwill. What will you do?"
