Student Volunteering Cardiff
- SVC will support students in Cardiff to recognise the importance that volunteering has on the personal development of students and the impact volunteering has on our local community.

At Student Volunteering Cardiff (SVC), our pledge remains that "SVC will support students in Cardiff to recognise the importance that volunteering has on the personal development of students and the impact volunteering has on our local community". Additionally, "SVC's volunteers will work with and inspire the younger generations of our community to understand and participate in all forms of youth social action, including volunteering."
As a charity governed by a Board of young Trustees, and the vast majority of our volunteers aged 18-25 years old, youth social action is integral to our charities' aims and objectives. In the last 12 months our volunteers have contributed over 50,000 hours to the local community in Cardiff, supporting a range of beneficiaries including children, young people and adults with disabilities, older people, the homeless, environmental initiatives and community safety partnerships.
