St Mary’s Youth Club

St Mary’s Youth Club

St Mary’s Youth Centre is an independent voluntary youth centre in County Armagh.  We provide for the personal and social development of children and young people in Portadown and create opportunities for learning not normally open to them.  We help develop young peoples’ skills and encourage them to get involved in our Centre by giving back some of the experiences and expertise that they have gained.  St Mary’s Youth Centre will pledge to:

  • Continue to encourage and support young members to become leaders within the Centre.
  • Continue to provide volunteering and social action opportunities so that they can make a difference to others and themselves.
  • Continue to recognise their involvement through the Millennium Volunteers programme.

No pledge update yet – we’ve only just made our pledge to the #iwill campaign.

New progress update will be coming soon, so watch this space!

Quote from Charlotte Hill, CEO at Step Up To Serve
“The #iwill campaign is driven by leaders from across society who are committed to making youth social action a normal part of growing up in the UK.
We know that young people want to play an active part in improving their communities, and that in doing so, they develop their own skills for work and life. Over 350 cross-sector organisations so far have pledged to support youth social action, and say #iwill. What will you do?”
