PiXL The Edge
- Enable all students in PiXL schools to develop the skills and character needed to give them The Edge in life, whilst making a real social impact in their communities. We would make students aware of the 6 six quality principles of youth social action as part of The Edge programme
- Recognise young people for their participation and progression through The Edge from Apprentice to Graduate to Masters level, culminating in an NCFE accreditation, judged by cross-sector leaders sitting on VIVA panels.
- Celebrate the achievements of the young people taking practical action in the service of others through The Edge with national awards.
- Collaborate with #iwill partners who provide high-quality social action opportunities (e.g. DofE, NCS) to ensure young people who participate in their activities are also recognised through The Edge
- Share data which measures student engagement with The Edge to help inform the #iwill campaign’s strategy in order to achieve our collective 2020 goals.
