Glasgow City Council
- We pledge that all young people on Activity Agreements in Glasgow will be encouraged to volunteer.
- We believe in the value of volunteering and will support our young people to consider how they can contribute to their local community and become active citizens.
- We will do this by offering them the opportunity to take part in our group delivery programme – Connect 2; an integral part of this is a community challenge.
- We anticipate that over 100 young people will undertake this challenge.
- In addition we aim to have 30 young people will volunteer by joining our Duke of Edinburgh programme.
