Co-operation Ireland
Co-operation Ireland will continue to develop young people, from a diverse range of backgrounds, so that they have an opportunity to meet, learn about the traditions and cultures of other young people living on the island of Ireland in order to create a more peaceful respectful stable society. Through its commitment to ‘develop’ Co-operation Ireland will:
- embrace new opportunities to create, enhance and support youth volunteering
- continue to lead the NI NCS Consortium as it embeds youth social action within its programme
- promote opportunities through schools and community programmes in order to encourage active citizenship
- continue to embed diversity and community relations throughout its programmes to enhance the opportunity for young people to benefit from all volunteering opportunities.
We're still working on our pledge to the #iwill campaign. Next progress update is coming soon, so watch this space!

Quote from Charlotte Hill, CEO at Step Up To Serve
"The #iwill campaign is driven by leaders from across society who are committed to making youth social action a normal part of growing up in the UK. We know that young people want to play an active part in improving their communities, and that in doing so, they develop their own skills for work and life. Over 350 cross-sector organisations so far have pledged to support youth social action, and say #iwill. What will you do?"
