How does this all work?
Well, consider the outer layer of your skin (stratum corneum) as a protective cuticle that has become thickened usually as a result of sun damage. The Macrodermabrasion removes the hard top layer of the epidermis (stratum corneum) exposing the fresher and softer skin layers beneath. Now creams with antioxidants and AHA’s have a chance to get down to the lower layers of your skin. There they will be even more effective. More of the thick layers of the stratum corneum are removed by the combination of microdermabration and Revlite laser than any of the other microdermabrasion methods currently on the market… thus allowing even better penetration.
